Ah HT, milady and tez, sorry you won't be there. I for one will miss you and will think of you often. Just wondering about the Wilderians...it seems the first I read about the event it mentioned that we would be allowed in earlier than the loving public, is that still true? I won't be in Nville until 3ish so want to ask now. Probably won't be on line much before then either.

Doors at 7. If we can get it together there may be one or more films shown before we play at 9. I'm sure Wilderians will be hanging out. Come on! WW

Webb, your voice sounded great and so did the band. As always. What a treat it was to see and hear the Tone Chaperon for the first time! Glad we could make it in from St. Louis. Good to see you again as well Glenn. I'm ready for next year!

Thanks for the set list Glenn , I was wondering what songs were played & I missed getting to see Carryin' The News To Mary live darn it ! Anyway looking forward to seeing my WFX shirt that is in the mail. My favorite shirt so far is WebbFest 8 will that change ???

Sounds like I missed a good show, and thank you for posting the set list, too. I'm glad it turned out well for everyone in Nashville, and Martha and I are making plans for Chicago in January. See you then Webb & Co.!

Tez, "Mary" is one of my favorites too. I hope it sticks in the rotation for a while, I'm gonna try to catch a show in January.

The show was fantastic, glad to have been able to make the journey from the other side of the US. I've got to say Webb, that your voice was great even though you sang all those songs. Good to see George again, though I don't know why they set him up in the dark. I enjoyed seeing this "family" of mine, too many to list.. Thanks to everyone that put this together! Looking forward to the next one, one that feels a little more like a festival.

Oh I forgot to say something to Tom. You, well everyone, looked a bit confused when I was telling you to take your jar labeled Bob. I was making a joke regarding the article in the local entertainment rag, they listed you as Bob Comet! Maybe you didn't see that. It's okay, my humor gets lost on most people!

Apparently we have a similar sense of humor, Nese - I was saying that we should call the band "The Bobs" featuring Bob Comet, Bob Lester, and Bob Bradfute. Just think of how much easier it would be for journalists!

That idea has my head bobbing in agreement.

Webb ended the first set with"Tell Me Why Charlene", graciously granting my request.

Charlene, she don't get no respect I tell ya. One of my favorites from one of my favorite discs.

I ran across a website called "Save Trumpet Records". It appears to be by Sherman Lee Dillon. The site was set up to help save the original location of Trumpet Records in Jackson Mississippi. The site is from two years ago and I was wondering if you know whether they were successful in saving and restoring the location?

Love Charlene too along with Mary shows Webb's great song writing ability.

Plus Charlene is the only song I've ever heard, might be the only one, with the lyrics "you're bum-fuzzlin' me".

It has "bumfuzzlin'" AND "bamboozlin'! but, I musta been "bumfuzzled" that night cuz I kinda erroneously swapped some of the lyrics around. WW

Well I have to say I think the Webb Fest 10 shirt is now my favorite. Bye the way I have Webb Fest shirts 5,6,9,10. If anyone has 4 & 7 in good condition 3xl or bigger that your wanting to sell. Let me know :)
