Primed as the next big thing over 30 years ago, Wilder is back where he started on the label where it began. Hiding behind the kind of wizened look the years will give you, Wilder still is wilder than the average rocker and ready to rock like the kids only wish they could. From the heartland that existed before the Walmart parking lots took it all over, Wilder is still roaring like a madman that cant be contained and delivers a clarion wake-up call your soul so badly needs. Killer stuff throughout. Chris Spector

Webb, your look is just fine...sort of a Jed Clampett on acid thing.
Wizened is in this year, anyway.

Pretty is as pretty does!
Having seen Webb in person recently I can confirm that his "wizened" days are still a ways off.
His music remains forever young.

Just pre-ordered!!! I can't wait to hear the new documentation of Rock and Roll.
And I second - Tommy Lee is very much a champion of most things.

I've read 10 paragraph reviews that have said less. Good to see there's still a scribe or two using economy of words to decent effect. I'd say more but... well... that economy of words thing....

Granted that isn't the best one-word description of our man of the hour. I get the idea that in this case though, it just goes with the writers style of brevity. Obviously the best and most accurate line is 'Killer stuff throughout.'

Not a bad review here... and more detailed: http://boomerocity.com/reviews-interviews/cd/698-mississippi-moderne
