Amazon isn't very discriminating when it comes to details like record label or the exact version of a release. For instance, many CDs have definite quality differences between companies and release dates. Amazon just bunches all the versions together. For instance, I was looking for Underwater Moonlight by the Soft Boys and learned that some versions sound a lot worse than others. On Amazon, I had no idea which version I would get and no seller would reply to my questions.
The Discogs website had a lot more info and I was able to buy the correct edition (on Yep Rock) there. There were 19 different versions!
