There will be a very rare total solar eclipse passing across the USA on August 21st. Luckily for our Volunteer State pals, this historic cosmic event's totality path will transit directly across Nashvegas!
WebbCo World Headquarters and the surrounding area will receive roughly two full minutes of totality, during which the sun's corona can be seen all around the blackened-out disc of Sol itself. Assuming the weather cooperates, it should be absolutely spectacular to view!
Unfortunately, I'm far too distant to the north to experience totality at all, so I must say, I am quite envious. However, even a partial coverage of the sun creates some interesting and weird lighting effects (both in the sky, and as one looks around on Earth)... so I'll be outside anyway.

I just hope this isn't some sort of elaborate cover-up for the mothership coming back to pick up anybody we know! Nah, it can't be that. Too obvious and well publicized to go unnoticed. RIGHT??!?
