Subject: Lead vocals on "Is This All There Is?"
I'm listening to "It Came from Nashville" and wondering who did the lead vocals on "Is This All There Is?". I see that it's written by R.S. Field and D. Roberts, but nowhere in the liner notes is the lead vocalist (who I'm pretty sure is not Webb) mentioned.

Who is that mystery vocalist, please?

A long time fan like you doesn't know that?!? I am surprised. it is of course, R. S. Field himself who also can be heard singing on the
"answer" line in the chorus of "The Rest Will Take Care of Itself." WW

Well, for almost 30 years I've been wondering about it. I sure don't recall having ever seen or heard it mentioned in an article or interview, and I guess I just wasn't thinking about it when we've had a chance to talk. I reckoned it was most likely R.S., but there was a chance that it was the sole lead vocal performance by Donnie.

Thanks for the info.

Donny never sang lead on anything. Cletus sang "Full of the Moon" live for a time but, the (unreleased) studio version was sung by R. S. WW

I particularly like this line -

But you walked off the scene when I couldn't make your life like "Southern Living" magazine,

My mother is a long-time subscriber. I don't recall ever picking up one of hers and seeing an article about "Decor for Your Double-wide".

What a great song....FYI, The Roots Rock Action Figures CD is a fine acquisition for more great Field performances.

Subject: Webb Fest 2016
Just checking in on any progress being made towards Webb Fest 2016. I have to schedule time off so I can make it and just wondered where we stood (or sat). Tater if there is anything we in Bowling Green can do to help, let me know!
