Subject: Myrtle Beach Show

Just got out of the Myrtle Beach show. It was a great performance and the train station was a great venue. It was the first time I'd seen the Beatnecks as a 3-piece; Webb and especially Tom stepped up and more than covered for the usual second guitarist. I had a nice talk with Tom during the break and picked up some swag from Webb who was manning the table tonight. Thanks to Webb and the Beatnecks and South by Southeast for putting on a great show.

whodom Member Since: June 2004	Tom- That is my Wal Mach II, an instrument that far exceeds my capabilities to play it. I came into some money a few years back and decided to buy something to commemorate it. I googled "left handed Wal bass" and a classified ad for this bass was the first hit that came up. The price was right, so I bought it a few days later. Nice talking to you Saturday night! Hugh Odom
